What is v5v5.org?
v5v5.org allows you to create surveys to display to large audiences on projectors and to receive live updates from your audience via their cellphones. Any standard mobile phone will work with this technology, and we handle instructing the audience how to vote on our live chart screen. No need for complicated explanations or detailed knowledge of how TXT messages work!
How do I use v5v5.org to poll my audience?
It takes less then 5 minutes to sign up and create a poll!
Before your presentation or meeting, setup a survey using the "Create Survey" links to the left. During your presentation navigate to the "Manage Surveys" page, and click the "View Live Chart" link. Choose your chart type, and click the "View Chart" button. A chart with voting instructions for your audience is displayed in large font. Feel free to test your surveys, then use the Edit Survey page to reset the results.
We currently require the Microsoft Silverlight 2.0 plugin for your browser when viewing the live charts in presentation mode. You'll be directed to download this if you don't have it. While this may be an inconvenience for some, we believe that installing this one simple plugin on your presentation machine is a simple enough task. There are plans to implement a javascript solution in the future.
Does this work outside the USA?
We've confirmed that it works in the USA. Elsewhere, we're not sure. Contact us and let us know.
