What is v5v5.org?

First, it's 100% free and always will be.

v5v5.org allows you to create surveys to display to large audiences on projectors and to receive live updates from your audience via their cellphones. Any standard mobile phone will work with this technology, and we handle instructing the audience how to vote on our live chart screen. No need for complicated explanations or detailed knowledge of how TXT messages work!

What about people texting in messages to display, such as questions or prayer requests?

You asked for it, we provided it.  We call these "Free Text" and it comes complete with a screen for displaying the texts, and a screen for a moderator to approve them.  100% moderated, also free, and simple to use.

The ability for prayer requests, youth group game ideas, anonymous advice requests, and Q&A sessions are a powerful tool that can be used for a very engaging experience.

How do I use v5v5.org to poll / engage my audience?

It takes less then 5 minutes to sign up and create a survey or free text question!

Before your presentation or meeting, setup a survey or free text using the links to the left. During your presentation navigate to the manage pages, and click the appropriate link. A chart with voting instructions for your audience is displayed in large font. Feel free to test your surveys, then use the Edit Survey/Free Text page to reset the results.

No browser plugins are required, the charts are rendered using javascript and are compatible with all major browsers, and even display on mobile devices (good for testing, but in reality these charts are shown on a projector). During voting, the chart will update within 3 seconds of a vote being cast. This creates a dramatic realtime effect, and truly engages the audience and encourages voting as they see other votes appearing.
